The Neurology Center is the premier neurologic
medical group in North San Diego County, dedicated to Excellence
in Neurologic Care and Research.
The Neurology Center provides diagnostic
treatment services for patients with disorders of the nervous
system. The nine neurologists all have appointments to the
volunteer faculty at UCSD, and are actively involved with the
neurology training program there. All of the Neurology Center
physicians practice general neurology and each has unique
capabilities and interests. Several of the physicians have
backgrounds in both basic and clinical research. Our three nurse
practitioners add an extra element of caring!
We serve a population of over 600,000 individuals of mixed
ethnic groups in north San Diego County. The region has a
mixture of both younger persons of working ages and growing
families, as well as a large retirement community. To serve this
large patient base, the Neurology Center has 3 offices, in La Jolla,
Encinitas, and Oceanside.
